The Yeongnam Alps
The Yeongnam Alps consists of nine mountains, each of which being over 1,000 meters tall, with Gajisan Mountain at the center. The mountains show off their beauty throughout the four seasons. Especially in autumn, the silver grass covering every corner of the mountains creates a scenic view.
There is a certification program where a person receives a certificate and medal for trekking all nine peaks of the Yeongnam Alps. Other activities are also available on the mountains, such as paragliding.

Dangsa Ocean Fishing Park
If you want to walk over the sea, Dangsa Ocean Fishing Park is a place to go. Located in Dangsa Village in Buk-gu, the park connects Yongbawi Rockface to Neomseom Rock via a bridge. The floor of the bridge looks as if strings were knotted together to make a net, and as a result, you can see the ocean waves right below your feet. Walking on this bridge and enjoying the wonderful view is enough for you to feel refreshed.

Oegosan Onggi Village
Oegosan Onggi Village is Korea’s largest folk onggi village. (Onggi is Korean earthenware.) This village is home to master craftsmen who are working on the earthenware for generations as their fathers and grandfathers did. Also, it has a number of cultural heritages related to onggi, such as Ulsan Onggi Museum, Onggi Academy, and traditional workshops and kilns. This village presents a great opportunity to learn about the history and culture of onggi and try making one yourself.
