Hongcheon & Inje Misiryeong Healing Road
Misiryeong Healing Road connects the tourist attractions along National Road Nos. 44 and 46 to let visitors enjoy the beautiful scenery of Gangwon-do Province and its culturally significant spots. It is the first “car-hiking” trail in Korea. There are nine attractions, including Sutasa Temple, Garisan Leports Park, Yongso Valley, Hapgangjeong Bungee Jumps, Soyanggang River Trail, and Ulsan Peak.

Goseong Ayajin Beach
Ayajin Beach in Goseong has left a strong impression to the public as a filming location of a drama series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. In addition to the beach, which boasts crystal clear water and white sand, the places that appeared in the series have become popular spots to visit, such as the red lighthouse and the bus stop. The beach has a lot of coral reefs, making it a great place to enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving.

Yeongwol Jangneung Royal Tomb & Cheongnyeongpo
Jangneung Royal Tomb (Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009) and Cheongnyeongpo have a sad history of King Danjong, the 6th king and most tragic king of the Joseon Dynasty.
Jangneung Royal Tomb is the tomb of King Danjong, exhibiting historical records of his life.

Yanggu Arboretum
Located near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), one of northernmost points in Korea, Yanggu Arboretum is a nature-oriented ecological town, which has an arboretum, DMZ Wildlife Eco Center, DMZ Wild Flower Garden, and Wood Culture Experience Center. Nestled in the foothills of Daeamsan Mountain at 450 meters above sea level, the area allows you to see rare plants growing near the Military Demarcation Line inside the DMZ and enjoy an open view of the highlands.

Gangneung Anbandegi Village
